Retire Calc works differently than other retirement calculators by incorporating complex algorithms that take into account a specific set of variables, including inflation, to allow you to more accurately determine what you should be saving in order to retire with enough savings based on your specific retirement needs. How do you want to spend your golden years? Do you want to live in an apartment or a mansion? Will you be happy watching television, or would you rather spend your retirement travelling the globe? With Retire Calc, you first decide how much you will need to live comfortably per year during your retirement. After entering the required variables (check the Help screen for more specific variable definitions), Retire Calc will tell you not only how much you need to have in your account when you retire, but also what you need to start saving TODAY in order to get there. Example: You want to have $35,000 (in today s dollars) for every year of your retirement. If you are 25, plan to retire when you are 60, and live until you are 90, Retire Calc will tell you (while adjusting for interest and inflation) how much you need to have in the bank on the day you retire to make that happen. Revisit Retire Calc often to make sure you re staying on schedule, or to recalculate based on changes to your income, savings, desired age of retirement etc. Works on any iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch using iOS 3.0 or greater.
